Since its inception, CAT Projects has worked with local, state and Commonwealth governments, non-profit organisations and a variety of private clients including power utilities to deliver a range of projects and programs, with particular expertise and experience in remote area project management, energy and power system engineering, and community and stakeholder engagement.

One of the technical, socially oriented consultancy services we provide is the development of products focusing on the innovative generation, transmission and consumption of energy. The Urja Bandu and System Control Board are two current examples of this work. Both were developed as part of the Bushlight India Project. CAT Projects managed the development process from original concept and prepartion of functional specifications through to engineering, prototyping and final production model, as well as developing all the necessary quality and FAT testing procedures.  This work was done in collaboration with project partners, including target communities and selected engineering firms in India who manufactured and supplied these products with full warranties.
